The Requirements

The client wanted to migrate their existing RSA Certificate Manager deployment to the latest version primarily to take advantage of the support for Windows 7 during OneStep enrollment. As is quite often the case in these situations, the migration was also seen as an opportunity to replace the existing hardware running the RSA Certificate Manager software. In fact, the migration would be to a virtualised platform and would use a network-attached Hardware Security Module.
